Die Masterflex ''S'' Serie ist ein flexibles, quadratisches Spiralprofil, zur Versteifung der Vorrichtung auf der Rückseite. Masterflex versteift die Vorrichtung und gewährleistet so Formstabilität. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, dass Masterflex mit Vorrichtungsprepregs oder Naßlaminat überlaminiert wird.
Die Masterflex-Profile bestehen aus spiralförmig gewickelten Kohlefaser- oder Glasfasermaterial und lassen sich einfach an die Kontur der Vorrichtung anbringen.
